The Robert and Helen Lynd Award
This award recognizes distinguished career achievements in community and urban sociology. The Robert and Helen Lynd Award Committee seeks the active participation of section members in identifying and nominating deserving candidates for this award, which recognizes distinguished career achievements in community and urban sociology. Nominations should consist of a) a brief letter summarizing the nominee’s contributions to the field, and b) supplementary materials such as a curriculum vitae, biographical sketch, or additional letters of support. Do not submit copies of the nominee’s publications.
