The Robert and Helen Lynd Award
The Robert and Helen Lynd Lifetime Achievement
Award recognizes distinguished career achievement in
community and urban sociology.
This year's selection committee is chaired by John Logan (john_logan@brown.edu).
Eric Fong and Deirdre Oakley are the other committee members. Please send
nominations to John by email, including a one-page statement of why you believe
this person would be the best choice this year. Keep in mind that the award is
intended in the best case to recognize contributions to the field and also
involvement in the section.
