Subject: [community-announce] session ideas for 2006 ASA annual meetings
Dear Fellow Community and Urban Sociology Section (CUSS),
I write because I am now asking for ideas for sessions for the 2006
annual ASA meeting that will be sponsored by our section. Our
membership numbers permit us to sponsor up to four sessions.
I need to submit our plans by September 15 so I will like to have any
ideas from you by September 8. So the deadline for you to submit ideas
to me is September 8.
Please submit to me the following.
Name of the session
Paragraph describing the session
Complete contact information of the organizer(s).
I encourage you to be creative and think of what would attract the
widest number of people in our section to your session.
I have already heard from several people based on my announcement at the
meetings this year. I look forward to seeing additional proposals.
Many thanks,
Anne Shlay
